Memory Lane Monday #13: Special Thing – My Letters For Him
I saw this bag on a very corner while I was cleaning our computer room the other day. I sighed because these are some of my letters to my husband before we got married. That bag was the one I bought for him as a gift before we see each other the first time. I remember our close Filipina friend, who bridged us together, took this bag on her way back home to America during one of her Philippine visits. My husband said he always loved reading my letters to him and he puts them inside the bag because that bag reminds him of me. Those were the times we didn’t have internet in my parents home so I have to save some of my school pocket money to send this letters to him. And by the time he helped me have a computer at my parents home, we corresponded a lot in our emails and internet calls. Boy it reminds me, what a long journey it has been. And sometimes, when difficulties of marriage flares up in our lives, we tend to forget those sweet and beautiful memories. It’s a good thing to keep those love letters we have.
How about you folks? What memories has remind you these days about a special thing in your past? Share it here in Memory Lane Monday:

Nice memories, sis. I did not end up with any of my past relationships but their letters are well filed til now.
Honestly, I miss snail mail days. The internet or email lost the personal touch in each of the communication lovers exchange nowadays.
Aw, hahaha, sorry sis Arlene, waaaa! sent you pm in FB. please clarify, tigulang naman ko oi kay kalimtanon.
